I wrote before about the then quite scandalous billboard promoting divorce this way: Life’s short, get a divorce.

Now comes something even more shocking: Life is Short. Have an Affair. The Toronto Transit Commission recently rejected a proposed advertizing campaign that would have involved wrapping its streetcars with ads for an online dating site that promotes adultery. The controversial would have wrapped 10 city streetcars in purple with the phrase “Life is short. Have an affair.” in bold letters.

What’s next for frustrated married couples?
Life is short. Legalize polygamy.
Life is short. Poison works.
Life is short. Hire a hitman.
What’s your line?
Life is short. ____ __ _____.

Life is short. Become a Pro Golfer.
Too soon? Too topical?
haha, excellent post. I hadn't heard about these divorce and affair campaigns, but they are certainly pushing the limits.

Life is short. Give violence a chance.
That is, of course, a horrible sentiment that I don't share.
