Because, by then the trauma group realized that an important source of human organs (heart, liver, kidney, cornea etc..) had been removed by the helmet laws. Motorcycle head trauma victims are a good source of transplant organs.

It is very unfortunate that couples who were madly in love suddenly falls apart and undergo divorce. It would be even harder if they do not know much about what goes on during divorce cases. I wish that my relationship with my meohtr-in-law over the years had been a better one. **sigh**Now, she's in the final stages of Alzheimer's, and we're waiting for "the call."Meanwhile, we're on a death watch for my aunt -- the last member of my meohtr's generation. My dear aunt has pancreatic cancer, and hospice is involved, of course.My condolences to you, Stogie, on the loss of your meohtr-in-law.
